On the border with Brazil and Paraguay, in the Misiones province, you will find the spectacular waterfalls of Iguazú. With the ‘Garganta del Diablo’ (Devils’ Throat) as the breathtaking centre, 275 falls, in total almost 2 miles broad, drop down from the Brazilian planes. The power and the deafening noise of the falls are a strident contrast with the silence of the surrounding subtropical rainforest with more than 2,700 different plant species and a variety of birds, mammals, insects and reptiles.

At the Argentinean side, you will walk over and between 80% of these spectacular waterfalls. You can come that close to the falls that it is almost possible to touch them! The Great Adventure is unique, and combines the whole essence of the Iguazú National Park in one ride: the jungle and the waterfalls. It starts by entering the jungle with special transportation that allows a panoramic view of the environment. After an 8 km truck ride, you will arrive at the floating platform from where you will continue with motor-boats. After enjoying the view from the calm side of San Martin Island we sail to the “Tres Mosqueteros” waterfall, at that point, the Brazilian and Argentinean sides and the Devil’s Throat can be clearly appreciated. The Itaipu Dam is considered one of the biggest human constructions that benefit an important region of the South of Brazil and Paraguay. You will watch a movie about the famous dam. Brazil has only 20% of the falls on her land, but a fantastic view on the 80% of the falls on the Argentinean side.

Parque das Aves is a bird’s park. The park preserves and exposes mainly birds of exotic colors and beauty framed by the exuberant vegetation of native jungle. Check out the most exotic birds is this park!

Waterfalls Argentinean side
Situated in Iguazú Iguazú National Park, Iguazú Falls is undoubtedly one of the most imposing natural attractions in Argentina. Argentina has the majority of the falls on her side, and with this excursion you can admire them from close up! The tropical location and the sheer beauty of the falls led Eleanor Roosevelt to say “Poor Niagara”.
