Salta, located in the fertile Lerma Valley, is one of the most colourful and best preserved colonial cities of Argentina. Salta is intriguing because of its rich history and beautiful architecture. You will also find interesting museums and influences of the pre-Columbian era.

Take a plane to Salta and see the central square Plaza 9 de Julio, historical streets and the beautiful cathedral and churches San Francisco and La Viņa during a city tour. After a trip with the cable way, from which you will have a panoramic view over the city, we will visit the monastery of San Bernardo. Afterwards we will drive to San Lorenzo, full of beautiful old trees, colorful gardens and old residences! We finish the tour with a visit to a handcraft market.

Cachi
A peaceful and quiet town, located in the middle of a beautiful tourist route between Salta and Cafayate. The city was founded in 1694 and used to be an Indian settlement. A characteristic of Cachi is its rectangular square; most of the squares in Argentinean cities are square.

Cafayate
After Salta this is the most important city of this part of Argentina. The best white wines of Argentina come from this quiet, little green town. Plaza Principal is the centre of the city featuring the church and city hall. After five o’clock this town comes alive when the citizens leave their beautiful Spanish neo colonial houses.

Valley of Humahuaca
The valley of Humahuaca or the so called "valley of painters" gets its nickname from the presence of the most colorful mountains in Argentina. The valley is home to the seven coloured mountain, which is a painting in itself. Purmamarca is small village at the bottom of this mountain which you will visit together with the archeologically Tilcara.

Cuesta de Lipan (salt lakes)
Cuesta de Lipan is a well known “salar” near the boarder between Argentina and Bolivia. The “salars” can be several meters. Not all rain that falls on the altiplano does drain into the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, some of it drains into lower areas where it remains trapped and forms a salt lake.

Horseback ride in San Lorenzo
A horseback ride along the trails of this villa in Salta gives you beautiful panoramic view of the nearby valleys and ravines.
